Welcome to ‘Tiny Crafters’, specialists in children’s themed and inspired crafts.
My name is Sarah Jenkins and I believe that creativity is an important part of a child’s development. Therefore through themed Craft Classes and Inspired Craft Boxes which can be purchased and made at home, my mission is to create awareness and encourage the development of children’s creativity, so they are more equipped and confident to explore the world in their own way.
I have a background in both merchandising and as a teaching assistant as well as a diploma in Art and Design and a Masters Degree in Marketing. Therefore I consider myself to have a fair amount of creative knowledge and experience.
I started running craft classes at my local church hall in 2017 after having my daughter and deciding that I needed a job which was flexible and allowed me to spend more time at home with my little girl. I therefore started my business and it’s been growing ever since.
I am DBS checked, have first aid training and have had plenty of experience working with children of all ages and abilities.
As I have already mentioned I believe that crafting is an important part of a child’s development, for example arts and craft teach children problem solving skills as well as ways to express themselves through different mediums.
I design and run all our themed toddler and children’s craft classes and events, in the Bridgend area. When designing each toddler session I aim to include each of the five main areas of a child’s development including; cognitive, social and emotional, speech and language, fine motor skills and gross motor skill development.
I also design and create children’s Inspired Craft Boxes which can be purchased online and made at home. This is a great way to save on buying lots of materials and can also help save on mess as each box contains just the right amount of materials to create the desired craft products.
By the way the Inspired Craft Boxes make great gifts and can also be purchased in bulk for children’s parties.
