Why the Change in Name?

I started my business a year ago not really knowing the direction my business would take. I wrote out a business plan and knew what I wanted to achieve but didn’t really know how to get there.

I named my business ‘Imagination Parties and Events’. I originally wanted to create themed craft classes and parties where I would dress up, have some props and basically make crafts relevant to that theme, for example; Fairies, Pirates and Mermaids etc.

To cut a long story short, I have had lots of fun over the past year coming up with different themes and sharing different crafts with the toddlers and children in my classes, I have learnt a lot and I am more aware of the route in which I would like to take my business.

I would like to continue with my toddler and children classes, in a much simpler format which I believe will be more enjoyable for everyone. I would also like to create Inspired Craft Boxes which children can do at home. Therefore, with all these changes I also decided that my Business needed a new name, one that described what my business did, was short and catchy (I’m the first to admit that ‘Imaginations Parties and Events’ is a mouthful to say, let alone remember!).

Hence, TINY CRAFTERS was born.

I’ve spent the summer completing a course and learning how my business can be better for you, my customer.

I have developed my own website, which although not one hundred percent complete I am very proud of, and now you can even pay for classes online! Very excited about this, as customers can now secure a place in one of my classes and don’t have to worry about having cash on the day!

I have also added simple crafts to do at home to my website, so when you’re looking for things to do there’s always something to keep the kids entertained.

Plus, as already mentioned I’ll be offering themed craft boxes which can be purchased and made at home. These fab boxes are easy to make and reduce the mess and wasted money you may spend on buying lots of different materials, as everything you need is all in one box. Boxes can also be bought in bulk for a great party alternative!
